Qingdao Campus

So I thought I would tell you and show you a little bit about the Qingdao University Campus. It is a beautiful campus with wide streets and lots of trees.

 This is the library

This is the International Building. Our apartment is right behind this building. You can't see it from here and I forgot to take a picture of it, but it is 7 stories high and we live on the 6th floor. We take the stairs most of the time.

We have great views of the city from our campus. That is downtown in the distance. The building with the ball is the TV tower, but it is accessible to the public, so I am told. You can go to the top just below the ball and look out. We are going to go there soon.

A lot of construction and renovation is going on in the city and on our campus. They are remodeling a building for us to move into, but it probably won't be until some time next year or later before it is done. They are working hard on it.

The campus reminds me of the UNLV campus. Right in the city, but it is quiet and peaceful when you are walking around the campus. The next two pictures are of some walking paths on our campus. There are also about four garden areas that have paths. Green and beautiful! Reminds me of home.

You can see parts of Mount Fushan from our campus. It takes about 25 minutes to walk to the top. At least that is what one of the former teachers told us. He hiked there almost once a week.

You can see we are blessed to be on such a beautiful campus!
